Autism does not end at age 18.

Life with autism doesn’t stop at age 18.In fact, it is just the beginning of a new chapter. Many people believe that people with autism reach a certain age and suddenly their condition stops. But that can’t be further than the truth.

Autism is a lifelong condition that affects individuals in various ways .Whilst  it is  true that some individuals may face challenges with communication, social skills, or sensory issues, it’s important to remember that everyone is unique. Just like  neurotypical individuals , people with autism have dreams , passions and aspirations that continue beyond their teenage age. Remember autism doesn’t define a person – it is just one part of who they are. With  the right support, they can make meaningful contributions to the society. Adults with autism continue to navigate the world with their unique perspectives and experiences

So, lets change the narrative and spread awareness about the fact that autism doesn’t stop at age 18. Together we can create a world where everyone is accepted and valued for who they are. Lifelong understanding , resources and accommodations are crucial to help them thrive throughout their lives.
